John Burdis asked me to draw The Fantastic Four being defeated

by the Dark Judges (as seen in the Judge Dredd comic strip).

Here's my cover for Drokk #1 (published by FutureQuake Press/ Zarjaz).

This cover features two of 2000AD's most popular characters Zenith and Bill Savage.

The cover accompanies a story called 'Savage Zenith', which is written by Chris Denton.

I had the privilege to illustrate this exciting story, which you can read within the cover
of this fantastic publication.

Drokk also includes a 'A making of the cover' feature, a little insight on how I work,
and five other stories based on the characters from the Galaxy's Greatest Comic,
2000AD, written and drawn by some of the finest talents around.

Dredd kills the (e)X-Men.

Hee! Hee! This was fun to draw. 

While I was a guest at the recent Demoncon Comic Convention (in Maidstone), John 'Judge' Burdis came up to my table and presented me with a 'blank variant' covered comic book (in this case, an X-Men comic). John asked me to sketch Judge Dredd killing any member (my choice) of the X-Men. I must admit, I had a great time drawing this image... I've never been that fond of Cyclops. Burdis, is currently collecting a series of these covers, with Dredd working his way through all of the X-Men. I'd love to draw more of these 'blank' covers... I think I will. Great fun!

after which, I received four emails of complaints.

Zenith Invasion Page 4 as seen in the 2000AD fanzine comic, Zarjaz (Issue 12). 

A clever crossover of two great stories, brilliantly written by Chris 'Massacre for Boys' Denton.

Both of the original creators (Pat Mills and Grant Morrison) appear in the fourth panel.

Drawing Zenith and Bill Savage on the same page was a great thrill for me as I'm a huge fan of both of these characters. You never know, it may happen again...
